Share Market Highlights 12 March 2025: Sensex, Nifty settle marginally lower; IndusInd Bank gains over 4%
Sensex, Nifty updates on 12 March 2025: Indian equity indices ended marginally lower in a volatile session on Wednesday. The Sensex fell 72.56 points to 74,029.76, while the Nifty declined 27.40 points to 22,470.50. Infosys, Wipro, and TCS led losses, while IndusInd Bank, Tata Motors, and Kotak Mahindra Bank gained. BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices fell 0.5 per cent. Sectorally, auto, banking, and pharma rose 0.5 per cent, while IT, realty, telecom, and PSU banks declined up to 3 per cent.
